Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate Purchase Orders: Create and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Calculate Safety Stock and Replenish Amounts: Utilize data and inventory management techniques to determine optimal safety stock levels and replenishment quantities to maintain uninterrupted supply.
  • Confirm Order Details: Verify order details with suppliers, including pricing, quantities, delivery schedules, and terms of agreements to ensure all orders meet company requirements.
  • Supplier Communication: Maintain effective communication with suppliers to resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, and discrepancies.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze purchasing data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, inventory status, and supplier performance for management review.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate safety stock and replenishment amounts accurately.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
