Lead functional workplace planning and AutoCAD design as a Senior Interior Designer supporting BGIS client projects and space requirements. Work remotely while coordinating design documentation and furniture support.
The TFMS Senior Interior Designer develops concepts, occupancy plans, forecasts, and functional layouts based on client needs. This senior position requires interior design documentation, 3D modeling, furniture specifications, and project coordination. You will support planning from information gathering through implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop functional programs, stacking plans, and blocking plans
- Create room data sheets and space requirements workbooks
- Translate requirements into AutoCAD space layouts
- Produce design presentations, renderings, plans, and models
- Prepare furniture specifications and procurement documentation
Requirements:
- Seven or more years delivering interior design projects
- Excellent drafting and AutoCAD skills
- Ability to develop 3D models and renderings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and related software
- NCIDQ Certification and CIDA accredited BAID degree
