This is a full time / permanent position on site. Advantages Benefits 3 weeks vacation Great culture and leadership team Opportunity for advancement Potential to get CPA courses reimbursed Responsibilities Full cycle accounting Prepare regular financial reports, income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flow for various clients Responsible for monthly and quarterly financial close process Prepare timely and accurate journal entries as required Preparation and review of working paper files and corporate tax provisions and returns Review general ledger accounts activities to ensure account accuracy of financial statements Prepare and review and HST returns, payroll remittances, bank reconciliations Preparation and review of Personal and Corporate Income Tax returns Develop and maintain new client relations Provide leadership and technical guidance on engagements Meet new clients and promote firm services; and support the management in various related activities. Job Requirements: Qualifications Post-secondary education in Accounting Pursuing an accounting designation (CPA) Minimum of five 3 years of related work experience Experience working with Small / Medium Public Accounting firm Good knowledge of Excel, Sage Simply Accounting, Quickbooks, Taxprep and Caseware Capable of managing demanding situations Capable of solving problems and using sound judgment Strong communication skills and ability to answer client questions Must be comfortable promoting firm services, working on and offsite with clients and signing new clients Quality and detail oriented and able to meet tight deadlines Excellent team player Questions?
