Run what runs the worldThis Position reports to:Business controllerPosition SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst plays a strategic role in analyzing, planning, and managing the company’s financial performance. This position provides in-depth analyses, prepares detailed reports, and supports strategic decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, professional rigor, and excellent communication abilities.This position contributes to ABB Canada’s Electrification division and is based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.The work model is primarily on-site, with 4 to 5 days per week in the office.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze financial results and management reports.Develop and monitor annual budgets.Prepare financial forecasts and profitability analyses.Identify and assess financial risks.Standard cost management: establish, analyze, and adjust standard costs.Cost calculation process optimization: collaborate with production and accounting teams to improve cost accuracy.Provide strategic recommendations to management.Ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.Develop financial models and perform benchmarking analyses.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).Present financial results to stakeholders.Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and participate in cross-functional projects.Required Skills And QualificationsUniversity degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Significant experience in financial analysis (5+ years).Proficiency with office tools and financial software (Excel).Strong analytical and organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Critical thinking and attention to detail.Fluency in French and English.
