Role Overview As a Senior DevOps Engineer specializing in Snowflake and Databricks, you will be responsible for the continuous administration, improvement, and optimization of Intact’s cloud data platforms. Your mission is to enhance performance, scalability, and user experience through effective automation, infrastructure efficiency, and cost management initiatives. Key Responsibilities Platform Operations & Optimization Administer and optimize Snowflake and Databricks environments to improve scalability, performance, and cost efficiency Implement automation for operations and deployment to streamline workflows Software Development & Debugging Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex platform issues Conduct root cause analysis and define both short-term and long-term corrective actions Develop and deploy technical enhancements and fixes Architecture & Requirements Lead the definition of platform requirements and ensure alignment with solution architecture Design and execute proof-of-concepts for medium to large initiatives Monitoring & Support Independently manage escalations requiring senior technical expertise Improve monitoring, observability, and alerting capabilities Deployment & CI/CD Propose and implement solutions to enhance deployment automation and DevOps best practices across the ecosystem Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 5–8 years of DevOps experience, ideally supporting ML/AI-driven platforms Proven experience administering Snowflake and Databricks at the platform level Strong expertise with IaC and CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, GitLab Proficiency in Python and Bash Experience with monitoring and logging tools: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred/Asset Skills Experience with Data/AI tools such as AWS SageMaker or Bedrock Snowflake or Databricks platform certifications #J-18808-Ljbffr
