Senior Trade Operation Analyst - Global Oil Join Macquarie’s Operations Division as a Senior Trade Operations Analyst with a focus in global oil at our office in Calgary. In this role, you will provide essential business-aligned support services to our Global Physical Oil business. Your responsibilities will include verifying deals in risk trade systems, generating, tracking and executing trade confirmation for various oil transactions, handling counterparty responses to confirmation and contracts as well as reviewing and responding to third party paper. You will liaise directly with traders, business heads, and all support and risk functions to ensure trading practices are correct and in line with compliance policies. What you offer A minimum of 2-5 years’ relevant experience in the Energy sector, focusing on Physical Crude Oil and Refined Products Demonstrated expertise in oil settlements and contract management. A working knowledge of pipeline / waterborne/ and other transportation markets as well as the logistical aspects of transporting liquid commodities preferred. Highly motivated individual with a confident and professional attitude, possessing high levels of strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and attention to detail An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work well in a team environment and take direction.
