Overview This Medical Centre is looking for additional physicians to join their medical team. The practice offers a relaxed pace of work with an excellent collaborative care model and a congenial team of health colleagues. Physicians provide on-call services for the hospital. Be one of five physicians serving a population base of approximately 5,000+ people next door to Wells Gray Provincial Park. This Medical Centre is a collegial single-group clinic located two kilometres from the hospital site. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Physicians generally work four days a week in the clinic. Kamloops is the nearest tertiary referral site. Hospital transportation is supported by an Ambulance Station that is located on the same property as the hospital. In emergency situations, a helicopter and the High Acuity Response Team (HART) are dispatched from Kamloops to transport the patient from the site to an advanced centre for additional acute care.
