Practicum Student - Wildfire Smoke Health SurveillanceLocation: Toronto-661 UniversityDepartment: Environmental and Occupational Health Program, Third PartyThis posting is to fill a current vacancy.**The Role:**The successful candidate will provide support in a project in the area of real-time surveillance of wildfire-related human risk. The scope of this practicum is to contribute to statistical analysis of short-term exposure to wildfire-related air pollution and health effects in Ontario using provincial syndromic surveillance system. Suggested placement start date: May to August 2026 Please note: • This position is only open to students who are currently enrolled in an academic program where the completion of a practicum placement is required. • This position is only open to students currently residing in Ontario and attending a Canadian academic institution.
