Remote Communication Specialist – Full-time (Toronto, ON, Canada) Join SCM Insurance Services as a Remote Communication Specialist. In this role you will play a key part in managing the company’s communication strategy, enhancing its public image, and supporting the National Business Development team. Organizational Alignment Reports to the President Key Performance Factors Supports a centralized focus on relationship management, employee engagement, profitable client growth, and customer retention by executing consistent and effective communications. Supports delivery of revenue targets, new business, and organic growth for ClaimsPro through engaging content creation for various platforms and stakeholders. Job Responsibilities Guide and lead SCM’s corporate branding and external communications, including media releases, news stories, and position papers. Write professional content and manage communications for ClaimsPro’s product offerings, brochures, case studies, web content, press releases, articles, blog posts, employee announcements, and social media. Collaborate with different departments to gather information and ensure accurate, timely communication. Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts; manage the company’s social media presence, creating and posting content, and engaging with audiences. Monitor and analyze media coverage, provide regular insights, and recommend improvements to enhance the company’s reputation. Prepare internal communications and presentations for employees and stakeholders. Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement. Organize and manage events such as workshops, meetings, and trade shows to promote the company’s image and initiatives. Qualifications & Education Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in communications or marketing. Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field. Strong creativity and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop innovative communication solutions. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong time‑management skills. Knowledge of social media management, digital marketing, and SEO practices.
