Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Area Manager, as a District Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the Davey Tree company as you oversee a territory and lead a team in the delivery of exceptional arboriculture services for our clients.

Job Duties

  • Oversee, direct and support several crews as well as office staff.
  • Be involved in all aspects of leadership including: Recruitment, Employee Development, Training, Safety, Mentorship
  • Assist in the development of regional strategies in congruence with the Area Manager to create and establish new business development opportunities.
  • Play an integral part in the sales of the district.
  • Equipment and asset management.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma with a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience.
  • ISA Certified Arborist
  • Landscape Pesticide Applicator Certificate or in process of obtaining
  • Valid provincial driver’s license. Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement considered an asset.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
