Position Overview Emcon Services Inc. is a proud Canadian based company with over 30 years of success as an interprovincial road and bridge maintenance contractor. We currently have an opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our mechanical team as a 310T Certified Technician for our London, Ontario division. Are you a registered 310T Technician? Responsibilities This position is responsible for conducting annual safety inspections, performing repairs, and following our preventative maintenance program on our current fleet of trucks, trailers and equipment. Duties are assigned by Lead‑Hand/Mechanical Superintendent. Qualifications Qualifications include: Licensed Truck & Coach Mechanic (310T) Registered for DriveOn portal Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence Knowledge and experience in Preventative Maintenance Programs Knowledge and experience in engine/emission diagnostics, electrical diagnostics and repair Knowledge and experience in heavy truck hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, suspension, and steering Knowledge and experience on Bosch Rexroth salt management system Knowledge and experience in fabrication and welding considered an asset Good knowledge of trade related worksite safety Experience on industry related heavy‑duty equipment such as gravel trucks, snow‑plow trucks, winter maintenance attachments, loaders, grader, sweepers, mowers, backhoes, tractors, etc. Capable of working overtime as required Capable of performing call‑out to attend vehicle breakdown Employment Conditions Emcon Services has the following conditions of employment: satisfactory drug pre‑screening and Driver’s Abstract.
