If so, we are looking for you to join our team About the Position Reporting to the Centre Director, acts as an integral member of the Kids & Company team who is responsible for assisting the day-to‑day operations of a specific childcare center through the conscientious application of Kids & Company standards to achieve our mission statement: to provide quality primary and backup childcare services conveniently located near our children’s parent’s place of work. We aim to assist corporations in creating a healthy work/life balance. Responsibilities Support children’s emotional, physical, and behavioral well being; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping Implement an Emergent Curriculum Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA Participate and help lead staff meetings and workshops Assist the Centre Director with child/ staff files and other ministry requirements What You Need Registered BC ECE/IT License Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal reference check Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Immunization records up to date / two-step TB test Ability to push, pull and lift up‑to 45 pounds What We Offer Comprehensive benefits package Positive work environment with encouraging team members and opportunities for career advancement 35% off our child care services and receive 20 days of free backup child care per year Kids & Company is an equal‑opportunity employer.
