Greystone College On-call Substitute Business and Digital Marketing Instructor, Day and Evening Programs 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Role: On-call Substitute Business and Digital Marketing Instructor, Day and Evening Programs Reports to: Director, Greystone College Programs Location: Vancouver, BC (on campus) Work hours: Between 8:30 am to 11:30 am/1 pm or 5:15 pm to 9:00 pm, Mondays through Fridays Greystone College Vancouver is seeking qualified and dynamic instructors for on-call substitute teaching, between the hours of 8:30 am to 11:30 am/1 pm or 5:15 pm to 9:00 pm, Mondays through Fridays. A talent pool of qualified candidates may be established. Job Duties Deliver instruction that follows established program curriculum in an interactive and student-centered environment, in person in the classroom Prepare instructions materials for presentation to students, as required Apply digital‑marketing learning strategies and techniques to classes of 15-30 international students with an intermediate level of English Teach and guide students in “real world” digital marketing class projects Provide individual feedback and direction to students throughout the program Evaluate and document student progress Keep abreast of current industry practices Other duties as assigned Essential Qualifications, Skills, And Attributes Provincial Instructor Diploma or equivalent or minimum 2 years teaching experience One of the following is required: Diploma or degree in Digital Marketing or Website Management with 2 years industry experience Diploma or degree in Marketing with 2 years minimum industry experience in digital/email/online and offline marketing, search engine optimization, website management, social media marketing/public relations, content management OR relevant business degree 5 years industry‑related experience in the above areas Preference Will Be Given To Candidates With The Following Experience in web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), CRM programs, e‑Commerce platforms (such as Shopify), content creation testing and publishing, using social media platforms (such as Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest) for marketing or experience in business management Experience in Learning Management System platforms (Moodle) an asset Experience in TESOL international students a strong asset Contact Information While we thank all applicants, only those who are shortlisted will be contacted.
