Top responsibilities for this position: We are looking for a motivated and innovative candidate to join our team. Responsibilities to support and deploy STA sign-off solution include: Primary responsibilities as providing technical support to the top Synopsys customers on STA and ECO domains. Interact with product teams and R&D on improvement of the product and help with enhancement of the Product to cater customer advance tech needs. Evaluate information needs of the users and develop creative solutions to address these needs. Technical/hard skills needed: Candidate must have at least 3+ years of experience, preferably in the semiconductor domain, or overall, a mix of STA analysis, ECO, timing closure at block or Soc experience (2+ years as a STA/ECO engineer). Proficiency in Technical Support to effectively assist clients and resolve issues in Timing Signoff domain. Experience in PrimeTime and PrimeClosure/PTECO/Tweaker. Knowledge in Implementation is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Thorough understanding of technical writing processes. Soft skills and personality traits (Good to have): Familiar with python and/or TCL scripting for automation. Functional knowledge of Linux or UNIX. Assisting users in troubleshooting timing signoff and closure issues, guiding them through best practices and advanced tool features. Creating and maintaining technical documentation, application notes, and knowledge base articles to empower users and streamline support processes. Developing and deploying automation scripts (Python, TCL) to improve support efficiency and enable customers to maximize productivity. Participating in cross‑team initiatives and knowledge‑sharing sessions to drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of innovation. What You’ll Need: At least 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on STA analysis, ECO flows, and timing closure at block or SoC level (minimum 2+ years as an STA/ECO engineer). Hands‑on expertise with Synopsys PrimeTime and PrimeClosure/PTECO/Tweaker tools. Strong proficiency in providing technical support and guidance in the Timing Signoff domain. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex technical information clearly. Solid understanding of technical writing processes and documentation standards. Familiarity with Linux or UNIX environments and basic scripting skills (Python and/or TCL) for automation is a plus.
