Our north-central Vancouver Island based client is looking for a Head of Finance with proven success in an industrial or construction type environment to join their team. This newly created role offers a marvelous opportunity to put your strong technical accounting experience, operationally focused FP&A modelling talents, ERP & digital tools proficiency, proven leadership and sense of humor to workReporting to the CEO at this privately held BC company, you will be a member of the Senior Management team and work closely with the operating businesses assisting with their success.Ultimately responsible for the accounting and financial reporting, you have the desire to use technology to streamline processes and enhance available reporting features. The end game is to automate wherever possible, improving both accuracy and timeliness, enabling you to spend more time on enhancing the profitability of the businesses. Key business focused accounting strengths will include project accounting, bid preparation, and FP&A.Having a seat at the Leadership table, you are passionate about working with your Operational Peers and helping the business grow from a finance lens.
