They are looking for a Controller to join their team Why Work Here Great culture and work under a fantastic manager and CFO Flexible work arrangement A commitment to internal career advancement About the Opportunity Oversee and manage all accounting and finance operational activities Ensure accurate and timely preparation of the company's financial reporting in accordance with ASPE, including journal entry and balance sheet reconciliation review Complete monthly consolidation processes Analyze actual results compared to budget, forecast, and prior year Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting efforts Complete quarterly bank and parent company reporting Manage audit and corporate tax filings Complete US government reporting as required Maintain, develop, and strengthen internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks Manage and develop staff to meet the objectives of the organization Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights that drive business decisions and performance improvement Lead or support software upgrades, integrations, and automation initiatives Ensure data integrity across accounting and operational systems Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance Ensure compliance with all regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements across jurisdictions Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, HR, and IT to align financial objectives with organizational goals Additional duties as required About You Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance CPA designation 2 years’ experience in a Controller or Accounting Manager role Experience in consolidations and intercompany transactions is an asset Experience in internal controls is preferred Salary Range $125,000 - $140,000/year How to Apply Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
