Business Systems Consultant - Salesforce CRM Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and has an opening for a Salesforce Business Systems Analyst Consultant responsible for delivering end‑to‑end project implementation and serving as a subject matter expert in Salesforce’s Financial Services Cloud and CRM Analytics for a Top Five Bank. Job #: 3019675 Client: Big 5 Bank Location: Hybrid – 1‑2 days a week in Toronto Positions: 2 Terms: 1 role: starting with a 2‑month contract that rolls into a 6‑month contract. Other role: 6‑month contract with strong possibility of extension or conversion to full‑time. Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm What You’ll Be Doing Lead complex projects to design strategic solutions aligned to the enterprise architecture roadmap, support end‑to‑end project implementation, and act as a subject matter expert in both business and technology. You’ll ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best‑in‑class client experience. Understanding and Documenting Requirements – Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen, and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements. Solution Design – Build client‑focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance. Leading and Mentoring – Support end‑to‑end project implementation as a subject matter expert, provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals, maintain a collaborative work environment, and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems. Requirements Hands‑on experience supporting the Salesforce CRM platform. 3–5 years as a Business Systems Analyst with proven experience in agile delivery, requirements management on large and complex projects. Experience with Sales Cloud and Financial Service Cloud. Combination of traditional business analysis skills (system context diagrams, use cases, storyboards, relative estimation) and agile analysis skills, and the ability to identify the need for and use techniques from either skill set. Experience in requirements planning and prioritization including stakeholder analysis and effort estimation. Requirement elicitation techniques such as data analysis, document analysis, interviews, facilitated workshops, observation, prototyping, focus groups, and surveys. Requirements management and communication – walkthroughs; scope and change management; traceability; configuration management; backlog management; user provisioning and prioritization. Nice‑to‑have Experience working in Scrum environments. Salesforce Administrator certification. Critical thinking, design thinking skills, and experience in user‑centered design. Compensation & Benefits Hourly Range: $65 – $70 per hour (Ontario).
