Opportunity OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Human Resources Staffing Consultant to support a federal government organization through a high‑impact consulting engagement. This role focuses on delivering senior‑level HR advisory services with a strong emphasis on staffing actions, HR process development, and organizational design within the Government of Canada environment. It is well suited for an experienced HR professional with deep federal public service experience who is comfortable operating in a structured, policy‑driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support staffing actions in accordance with Government of Canada policies and proceduresDevelop, review, and improve HR processes, frameworks, and staffing strategiesProvide senior‑level advisory services related to classification and organizational designSupport and document staffing initiatives using MS Visio where requiredPartner with internal stakeholders to deliver expert HR guidanceEnsure compliance with federal staffing standards and documentation requirementsMandatory QualificationsMinimum 8 years of experience (within the past 12 years) developing and reviewing HR processes and strategies within the Government of CanadaRecent experience with at least 15 staffing actions within the past 2 yearsOf these, a minimum of 4 staffing actions must have used MS Visio to support classification and/or organizational designSenior‑level expertise in Human Resources – StaffingAbility to provide two professional references validating relevant experienceAdvanced English proficiency (oral and written)Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid – 1 day/week onsite)Security Clearance: Secret Clearance (or eligible to obtain)Seniority level: Mid‑Senior levelEmployment type: ContractJob function: Human ResourcesIndustries: IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
