What you’ll doYou will work in a cross-functional development team in which continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are part of the daily work. Your role will include:Define architecture and design of networking software based on Linux for embedded automotive applicationsIntegration, implementation, and release-testing of the embedded software and firmwareInterfacing with multi-disciplinary teams for software integration and verificationWhat you need to get the job doneA bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field5+ years of software development experience in C++v11 and above5+ years of Working knowledge of Linux network subsystem5+ years of Working knowledge with IPC mechanism and POSIX systemsKnowledge of L2/L3 networking, protocols, and toolsKnowledge of the Agile process, and willingness to work in an Agile organization,experience using Jira and ConfluenceWhat will make us REALLY love youGood knowledge of Board bring up, u-boot, developing applications for Linux OS preferably on ARM platforms (preferably NXP)Experience designing middleware for OTA, system health and environment monitoring, logging, etc.Knowledge of network synchronization protocols (IEEE1588 PTP, SyncE)Hands-on system-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsYou have a friendly willingness to collaborate and play nice with othersWe can see that you have a love for project-based work and staying at the top of your technical game #SyntronicP1 What you’ll love about us: At Syntronic, our employees are our greatest asset.
