Nurse Practitioner - n.St'at'imc Primary Care Centre This role is part of the First Nations Health Authority, offering innovative, culturally safe primary health care for the six northern St’át’imc First Nation communities. Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) Family Region: n.St'at'imc (Lillooet & area) Compensation: $171,533-$182,968 pro‑rated for partial FTE plus completion incentive Contract: Up to 1.0 FTE (typically 1680 hours a year) The First Nations‑led Primary Care Initiative (FNPCI) aims to improve access to primary health‑care services for First Nations people across BC in a culturally safe and community‑directed way. The n.St’át’imc Primary Care Centre (PCC) in Lillooet provides culturally safe, trauma‑informed primary care and traditional wellness services to members of six northern St’át’imc First Nation communities. The centre operates Monday‑Friday and team‑based care will include travel to community sites. About The Role The Nurse Practitioner will be the most responsible provider for a client panel, collaborating in a team‑based environment that supports both Western and Traditional Wellness approaches. A minimum effective panel size of 600 patients per 1.0 FTE by year 3 is expected. Responsibilities Practice with cultural humility, providing primary care in a culturally safe, team‑based environment recognizing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of clients. About You You are passionate about supporting First Nations families on their health and wellness journeys. You have a Master’s Degree – Nurse Practitioner (Family). You have an active practising licence in good standing with the BCCNM. You have training in Cultural Safety & Humility or are willing to take this training. Ideally, you have experience working with First Nations people and communities, and providing culturally safe care.
