Position Title Senior Foreman, Mine Operations Employment Type בסם(Full Time) Location Williams Lake, BC Reporting Relationship General Foreman, Mine Operations Salary Range $110,800 to $138,400 Role Overview The Senior Foreman, Mine Operations provides leadership and oversight for all aspects of mine operations during assigned shifts, with a strong focus on safety, production performance, and operational efficiency. This role is accountable for the execution and reinforcement of health and safety programs while ensuring work is conducted in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The Senior Foreman exercises overall control of shift activities and maintains accountability for overall operational outcomes. The role routinely assumes direct responsibility for support equipment activities, projects, and may designate qualified personnel to these functions to support training and employee development. This position ensures production targets are achieved through effective application of operating standards and the strategic deployment of personnel and equipment to maximize productivity and efficiency. Core Responsibilities Responsible for the execution and reinforcement of health and safety programs. Exercise overall control of shift activities, delegating responsibility for load/haul to the Production Foreman. Take charge of support equipment activities, primary crushing, projects and blasting; possibly designate other qualified personnel for training or employee development. Ensure production targets are achieved. Apply operating standards and employ personnel and equipment to maximize effectiveness. Maintain effective information exchange with Production Foreman and supervisors in related departments. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Skills & Competencies Must possess an open‑pit shift boss certificate and have a minimum of 8 years varied operations supervisory experience within an open‑pit mining environment. Demonstrated ability to organize, direct and supervise. Solid written, verbal and group presentation skills. Experience with MS Office software. Use of a dispatching system would be a benefit.
