What you need to be successful You possess a valid post-secondary diploma as an Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy Assistant Ability to travel within Hawkesbury - valid driver's license and car insurance is required You can assist/ teach exercise programs and train activities of daily living, including the use of assistive devices You can provide gait and balance training You are knowledgeable in the use of therapeutic equipment You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel Your focus is to embrace person and family-centered care You are passionate and empathetic, use good judgment, and apply critical thinking when making client decisions You are known for your excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaboration within an interdisciplinary team as well as work independently You value the role a therapist assistant plays in keeping clients at home when that is of personal importance Your bilingual language skills in English and French is a must If you are passionate about offering a person-centered approach to care, this is your chance to do what you do best.
