What You’ll Be Doing You will be joining the Cybersecurity, Third Party and Resilience Technology team, serving the Data Security Engineering group. As a Consultant, Application Development you will play a key role in the data protection domain, working independently or leading a small group to collaborate with service business partners, application operations teams and vendor partners on solutioning, guidance, development, implementation, troubleshooting, support and remediation. Details on the work arrangement (proportion of on‑site and remote work) will be discussed at interview. How You’ll Succeed Development and integration – Participate in technical design, development, unit testing and integration of cross‑functional, multi‑platform application systems for major features, ensuring regulatory and information security standards are met and documenting a technical runbook for consumer onboarding projects. Troubleshooting and production support – Provide production issue troubleshooting, on‑call support, and collaborate with external teams to resolve business‑impact issues. Communication – Engage in multiple meetings, listen actively, and provide insights, preferably supported by high‑level diagrams, throughout all stages from solutioning to delivery. Team collaboration – Develop a unified data‑protection onboarding process, standardize onboarding procedures and maintain a playbook to help new consumers adopt services efficiently. Ownership and deep‑dive – Take on challenges, explore new technologies and solutions, master vendor product functions (e.g., Application Protector, Immutable Application Protector, Oracle Protector, Big Data Databricks Protector) and pursue innovative opportunities. Programming ability – Perform complex application programming activities: develop specifications, code, test, debug, document, and automate via DevOps CI/CD to ensure successful implementation and maintenance. Who You Are 5-7 years of intermediate IT hands‑on experience with strong knowledge of DevOps toolsets (GitHub, GitHub Actions, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, CI/CD); strong Linux OS and shell scripting skills; 2+ years Python; expertise in container technology. Experience with ServiceNow, Azure networking, load balancers, LDAP/Active Directory, authentication/authorization, SSO, digital certificates, databases and vendor product integration is an asset.
