Temporary Test Automation Developer (Non-Union) Test Automation Developer (Non-Union) Temporary contract until September 2026. Full‑time, 35 hours/week, Hybrid. Status: This position is to fill a current vacancy. Are you a skilled Test Automation Developer looking to join a dynamic team? We are seeking a motivated individual to contribute to our software development and quality assurance efforts. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and creating automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products by supporting the creation of automated tests that cover a wide range of scenarios and use cases. Responsibilities Test Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for various software applications. Ensure test coverage for new features and regression testing. Continuously improve test automation frameworks and tools. Collaboration And Communication: Collaborate with developers, product managers, vendors, and internal team members to understand requirements and design test cases. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand‑ups. Provide training and support to other team members on test automation tools and practices. Testing And Quality Assurance: Maintain test environments for automated testing. Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects. Report and track defects using a bug tracking system. Work with the development team to resolve defects and improve software quality. Monitor and report on test automation metrics and KPIs. Documentation And Continuous Improvement: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans and test cases. Stay up‑to‑date with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support operational objectives. Qualifications Education & Technical Knowledge Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is preferred. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Jenkins, Eclipse, or TestNG is preferred. Skills/Abilities/Competencies Strong understanding of software development best practices and methodologies. Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile development environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
