About this opportunity:The Training Coordinator is responsible for delivery and coordination of training programs at Canada Packers-Hog Production in Manitoba and Saskatchewan hog facilities.Responsibilities:Provides training and coaching on all aspects of swine production including but not limited to Food Safety and Animal WelfareCoordination and maintenance of training recordsCompletion of Trainer and Trainer assessment reportsTrack and monitor success and completion of training programsMaintains and ensures program is effective and updates where applicableProvides recruitment support for all Foreign Recruitment InitiativesOn farm evaluationsSkills & Experience:Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application. Proof of eligibility may be requested during the recruitment process.Post-secondary education in the field of animal husbandryMinimum 2 years’ experience in swine productionMust have experience in sow, nursery/finisher phaseMust possess excellent skills in:Problem-solving and analyticsOrganization and time managementOral and written communicationMS computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities and complex tasks simultaneouslyPossess full, valid driving licenseWillingness to travel within Manitoba and Saskatchewan, including periods of up to 4 consecutive nights away from homeWe thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
