Job Description Reporting to the Director of Production and Shipping, the Production Supervisor is a hands‑on leader, responsible for mobilizing their team to achieve performance, quality, health, and safety objectives. They implement the Daily Management System (DMS) to ensure proactive, structured, and visible management on the production floor. He is responsible for meeting health and safety, quality, cost, deadline, mobilization, and environmental objectives for his shift. Main Responsibilities Mobilize and manage a high‑performing team Welcome, integrate, coach, and develop your team members; Manage schedules, conflicts, and absences; Apply disciplinary measures when necessary, always with a focus on fairness and respect; Actively participate in promotion, hiring, and evaluation processes (annual and professional reviews); Maintain a healthy, mobilizing, and collaborative work environment; Ensure smooth and constant communication between the different shifts work, ensuring an effective bridge with other supervisors. Ensure the efficiency of production operations Ensure optimal startup and smooth operation of production lines; Monitor the yield of each product to maximize the use of raw materials; Coordinate activities to minimize costs while meeting deadlines and quality; Implement production planning, monitor its execution, and make the necessary decisions to meet commitments; Be actively and regularly present on the floor to support teams in real time; Participate in the development and implementation of effective controls over finished product and raw material inventories; Ensure the proper operation of production facilities and equipment. Manage performance using the DMS (Daily Management System) Quickly identify deviations and initiate necessary corrective actions; Provide feedback to the Process, Maintenance, Receiving‑Shipping, and Logistics teams; Monitor and meet performance objectives related to quality, yield, safety, and productivity; Prepare production reports and ensure their distribution to relevant stakeholders. Guarantee quality, safety, and sanitation Apply and enforce HACCP, SQF, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards; Ensure that all finished products meet the quality criteria required by the industry and our customers; Collaborate with the OHS committee to maintain a safe working environment; Safety; Handle non‑conformities, block products if necessary, and inform the Quality department; Actively participate in the continuous improvement of processes, seizing opportunities for change. Required Skills And Qualifications DEC in a related field in the agri‑food industry or any combination of experience and training equivalent; Minimum of 3 years of experience in team management; Minimum of 5 years of experience in a food processing plant; Knowledge of HACCP and SQF standards; Knowledge of the Office Suite; Ability to seize opportunities for change with the goal of continuous improvement; Demonstrates leadership and places teamwork among their developed skills; Is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and knows how to plan priorities; Demonstrates empathy and has excellent verbal communication skills; Must show initiative, determination, and commitment.
