Hardware Engineer

picoTera is developing advanced noise cancellation, communication, and hearing protection systems.We are looking for a talented electrical and computer engineer who can help us develop and debug new products.Prospective applicants should have a solid background in electronic circuits theory and hands-on skills working with oscilloscopes, function generators, and other lab tools.Another key skill we are looking for is soldering skills and the ability to debug common hardware issues. This can range from re-soldering a broken switch and improving designs for future releases to finding faulty ICs in malfunctioning hardware. We expect applicants to be very familiar with the soldering skills needed for SMD components.Additionally, familiarity with Altium PCB design software is essential. Applicants should know how to start from a schematic, sync the project to PCB, and create a DRC-free PCB board.
