First Student is hiring a Part Time School Bus Driver to transport students safely between homes, schools, and activities. Expert training and guidance support new drivers. The Monday-to-Friday schedule includes morning pickup and afternoon return routes, with no nights, weekends, holidays, or summers required. Additional field trips and special event transportation may be available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from school
- Supervise boarding and unloading at designated stops
- Assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate delays or behavior concerns with families and schools
Requirements:
- At least 21 years old
- Full G license held for at least one year
- Interest in part-time work and summers off
- Enjoyment of working with students
- Willingness to follow traffic laws and safety standards
Become a First Student school bus driver with training, safe driving duties, and meaningful daily contact with students.
