Your Next Challenge Provide in-field and classroom-based instruction in accordance with the master training matrix and progression plans; Administer testing material to evaluate competency levels in both theoretical and practical applications; Assist trainees by providing on-going mentoring to attain higher levels of competencies and skill sets; Undertake regular reviews of curriculum and update as may be required to ensure effective delivery and adherence to legislation; Track training progress and training effectiveness; Provide reports on completed training sessions and individualized trainee progress; Develop training curriculum related to manufacturer’s specifications and operational/maintenance procedures, corporate and regulatory standards and objectives; Stay current with mining operations and changes to equipment and procedures; Ensure adherence to document control procedures and best practices. What You Need To Succeed High School Diploma or equivalent; 5 years’ of experience operating heavy equipment in an open pit mining environment, with 3 years’ in a mine training role; Experience operating large-scale CAT mining equipment, specifically 6060 and 7495 shovels; Experience operating mine production drills, specifically Atlas Copco PV271, D65 and DM45 drills; MTCU surface miner common core and specialty modules; Train the Trainer qualification; Experience developing training programs; Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Your Work Schedule Schedule: 4/3 or 8/6 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine; Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
