This position partners closely with Product Owners, QA, and Business Systems Analysts to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements. The developer will lead design discussions, enforce coding standards, mentor junior developers, and drive continuous improvement while delivering reliable, scalable, and efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Product Owners, QA leads, and BSAs to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Plan and document comprehensive technical designs to support development and implementation activities. Design, build, and configure applications to meet business and technical requirements. Write testable, scalable, and efficient code, setting high standards for code quality across the team. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure best practices. Mentor and guide junior developers to foster professional growth and enhance team performance. Enforce software quality standards through testing, review, and continuous improvement processes. Work cross-functionally to align technical solutions with business goals. Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and Java ecosystem advancements. Required Experience Post‑secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience. 10+ years total software development experience (flexible). 8+ years of Java Full Stack development experience. 3+ years of Agile environment experience. 5+ years of Java and RESTful API development experience. Nice-to-Have Experience 3+ years of development experience in the banking sector. Experience with Spring Boot or related frameworks.
