Responsibilities:

Proficiency in monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, and Thousand Eyes, as well as networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and load balancers.

Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB and experience in orchestrating enterprise-level infrastructure using tools like Salt or Kubernetes.

Expertise in managing High Availability and distributed systems across Linux and Windows platforms, including troubleshooting and support.

Background in transitioning platforms to cloud technologies like GCP, Azure, and PCF, and familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket, and Harness.

Excellent debugging skills across various integrated platforms.

Passion for technology and proficiency in developing and overseeing advanced environment monitoring solutions.

Design and implement all operations/SRE services and processes, including managing L2 environment support.

Analysis of reliability issues and development of automated solutions for incident resolution.

Collaboration with development teams to enhance operational features of applications, aiming for faster Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Recover (MTTR), as well as automated recovery.

Hands-on troubleshooting of infrastructure and contribution to the architectural design of data centers using existing knowledge and toolsets.

Continuous evaluation of current Site Reliability capabilities, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and defining/deploying new tools and technologies to improve platform efficiency.

Drive reliability and supportability aspects of cloud services, including managing change, customer escalations, remediation plans, playbooks, and automation.

Maintenance of services post-launch by monitoring system health and scaling systems sustainably through automation mechanisms.

Engage in and enhance the entire service lifecycle, from conception and design to deployment, operation, and refinements.
