For more information, please visit www.sunocolp.com.The Opportunity:Reporting to the Manager, Pricebook & Inventory Management, the Pricebook Analyst is primarily focused on supporting Sunoco’s Retail Merchandising business by executing day to day retail Pricebook functions. The Retail Pricebook is a critical system that enables us to price merchandise in our network of stores, understand our performance and execute marketing initiatives such as promotions and discounts. The Analyst will manage the coordination and communication of all pricing related activities while ensuring pricebook database integrity. In addition, the analyst will monitor sales and promotion activity and relay information to Category management to enable decision making for future promotions.Responsibilities:Pricebook MaintenanceProcess price updates for products/items and marketing initiatives such as promotions and discounts. This also includes item authorization and item discontinuationDetermine discrepancies, unauthorized items/suppliers, scanning issues, and other pricebook related issues; make the necessary corrective actions and preventive measuresExecute store level merchandising procedures, including but not limited to ordering, receiving, markup / markdowns, and pricingResponsible for working with vendors to electronically receive pricebook and invoice informationPricebook technical supportSupport category managers, suppliers, regional merchandising managers, and retail operations in resolving pricing issues at store levelManage the coordination and communication of price download activitiesBusiness Performance Analysis and ReportingAnalyze promotional performance using available tools and make recommendations regarding future promotions based on analysisPerform other administrative and/or analytical duties and responsibilities as assignedRequirements:Exceptionally high level of attention to detail and a strong focus on quality of workDemonstrated ability to manipulate large sets of dataDemonstrable knowledge of PDI, or similar ERP, Accounting or Pricing systemMust be able to multi-task and set priorities. Critical ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressureKnowledge of retail operations and convenience store marketing an assetBilingualism (French & English), oral and written is preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills.Experience in convenience store, oil and gas, retail or other supply chain/ERP-intensive industriesHumble.
