FAIM’s goal and purpose is to assist in the integration of persons with disabilities into existing social and economic structures.FAIM is has expanded client services to four (4) locations across southern Alberta expanding the need for accounting personnel in its administration office located in High River, AB.Job Title – Accounting Clerk: Contract Maternity Coverage 12 monthsOffice Hours – Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pmHours of Work – Flexible 30-hour weekSalary Range – $24.00 to $27.00 per hourBenefits – Medical, Dental, LTD, AD& D & LifeReports to – Director of FinanceClosing date – August 11, 2025Start date – September 22, 2025Job OverviewThe administration office oversees a number of departmental areas to assist with the overall running of the day-to-day operations for several branches in the organization. The role of the Accounting Clerk is to maintain financial records, run reports, and recording a wide range of accounting transactions, along with other tasks to support management in financial related matters. The Accounting Clerk will report directly to the Director of Finance and work cooperatively with the FAIM Accounting and Administrative Team.Education/ExperienceMinimum five (5) years related education and accounting experienceKnowledge of Sage financial suite is considered an asset.Demonstrated competence in multi-taskingOutstanding time management and organization skillsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsComputer literacy skills in Microsoft Office is a mustResponsibilities and TasksThere are a wide variety of tasks within the role as an Accounting Clerk, working alongside the administration team to support the administration and financial operations of the organization.Job responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:Accounts Payable & Expenses review, entry and paymentBank deposits and payments reconciliationCapital Assets including amortization schedulesInsurance and vehicle registration tracking and renewalsPayroll Administration would be considered an assetManagement of General Inquiries, Reception sharing and MailIdentify opportunities for cost savings and efficienciesOther job-related duties as assigned and shared with Accounting TeamSend resumes to:Sheryl Morrison, Director of FinanceFoothills Advocacy in Motion Societysheryl@faims.org #J-18808-Ljbffr
