Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints and engineered drawingsSetup, program, and operation of HBMs or VMMsRun variety of machines including lathes and mills when requiredUnderstand tool limitations and controls during operationOperate machines within tight tolerances and have a good knowledge of feeds and speedsMeasure precisely utilizing mics, calipers, bore gauges and hold tight tolerancesOperate travelling overhead crane up to 20 tonnes and know rigging requirementsInspect work according to ISO and Quality Assurance standardsCapable of working unsupervised on own machineTroubleshoot within area and on machinesPerform basic preventative maintenance on equipmentAssure compliance with appropriate safety practices and proceduresMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with proceduresAssist with continuous improvement projects under the direction of the team leaderComplete autonomous maintenance of equipment as per daily check listsQualificationsOur ideal candidate has over 3 years of HBM and/or VMM experience and possesses the following competencies.Years experience could be measured for equivalencyEducationJourneyman Machinist certificate is considered an asset, but not requiredCompetenciesValid Driver's LicenseAbility to operate a crane with proper rigging techniquesExperience with medium to large millsAbility to run variety of CNC Machines and equipmentCommitment to providing outstanding serviceAttention to detail with a focus on qualityExperience in a shop environment, preferably with custom abilityReliable track record at previous employment #J-18808-Ljbffr
