Primary Job Posting Location: Concord, Ontario, Canada Job Description This part-time seasonal position assists UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pick-ups of UPS packages at UPS drop boxes and customer locations in and around the Scarborough area. *NO DRIVING REQUIRED* The role involves working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment, requiring continuous lifting, lowering, and carrying of packages. This position is essential to providing excellent customer service through efficiency and dedication. Job Type Part-Time, Temporary Seasonal Work Location Scarborough, ON Workdays Monday to Friday (Must be available to work all 5 days) Shift Time 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Flexibility with start and finish times required based on operational needs) Hourly Wage $18.00 per hour Key Responsibilities Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) unassisted, typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs. Meet UPS driver at assigned local meet point Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently and effectively Learn and properly execute UPS package handling and delivery methods Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required Record, track, and maintain information about delivered packages Comply with UPS appearance guidelines by wearing the company-provided vest and uniform Requirements Must be able to work 3-5 hours a day, with various start times available between 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM; Monday to Friday (Flexibility required) Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) unassisted; typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs. Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service skills Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions Must be able to deliver packages by means of walking Hours may vary depending on work volume Compensation and Benefits Wage: $18.00 per hour Paid training Weekly pay via direct deposit – every Friday Work locally in neighborhoods/areas around your home Immediate access to UPS employee discounts program upon hire Opportunity for advancement within a Fortune 50 Company Expenses / Working Conditions This is a unionized role and monthly union deductions will apply Exposed to hot and cold temperatures while working outdoors and in warehouse facilities NOTE: The duration of the contract is until the end of December 2025 with a possibility of extension depending on the work.
