Senior Technical Specialist, Sample Management

Senior Technical Specialist, Sample Management Altasciences is a team focused on discovery, development, and manufacturing of new drug therapies. We foster a collaborative environment built on Employee Development, Customer Focus, Quality, Respect and Integrity. We are looking for a Senior Technical Specialist to join our growing team. Responsibilities Provide technical subject matter expertise for Sample Management technicians and specialists. Own process improvement initiatives for Sample Management groups. Collaborate with Sample Management Technicians, Scientists, and IT to deliver efficient quality services. Monitor key tasks, lead projects, and coordinate with vendors and cross‑functional teams. Support and troubleshoot day‑to‑day issues, and conduct investigations for Sample Management groups. Identify, implement, and validate Sample Management applications and automated solutions. Provide training, coaching, and mentorship for laboratory employees. Develop SOPs, training guides, and support implementation of LIMS and other software. Ensure compliance with SOPs, GLP, and regulatory requirements. Communicate updates and status to stakeholders and organize team meetings. Qualifications Education: DEC or DEP in sciences. At least 5 years of relevant CRO or Pharmaceutical experience. Knowledge of GLP/GCP environments. Experience with change‑management approaches. Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills in French and English. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Access). Experience with Watson LIMS and programming (JavaScript, VB, SQL, HTML) is an asset.
