OverviewThe Edmonton area is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to work on one of Alberta's largest career-defining projects. Opportunity includes Defense Canada's new home for the F35 Fighter Jets.ResponsibilitiesProvide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the SuperintendentPrepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billingsMeet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner and communicate effectively the concerns and best interests of the companyMonitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flowLead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing development and progressionSubmit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalatedQualificationsMinimum of 12+ years of experience in ICI constructions; minimum of 7 years in a Project Manager positionExperience with structural piling or concrete work is an assetYou have the ability to confidently mentor and delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relationsYou have CISD Secret clearance or are eligible to obtain itEllisDon is proud to provide this unique career opportunity that provides continuous learning, opportunity for growth, and a competitive compensation package within an environment that is committed to inclusion and respects diversity.Go ahead and be yourself.
