As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess and recommend individualized treatments, serve as the primary resource for drug information, and provide expert advice to healthcare professionals. You will monitor drug prescribing, distribution, and therapy to ensure safe, effective, rational, legal, and economic use of medications. Additionally, you will maintain workload records and statistics, practice patient-centered care by monitoring medical conditions and ongoing drug therapy for effectiveness, compliance, adverse reactions, drug interactions, and other incompatibilities.
