As an Intermediate Mine Waste Engineer, you would contribute to the planning, design, and stewardship of mine waste facilities—from tailings and waste rock to water systems and landform design. Eng. designation or eligibility for licensureA willingness to travel for business purposes including potential need for extending time on sites in Canada and overseasExperience with tailings dam design concepts, best practice and guidelinesClear, informed technical communication skillsAdaptability, curiosity, and a commitment to collaborative deliveryPreferred attributes include:A Master’s degree in a related fieldFamiliarity with permitting and environmental regulationsExperience in project execution and leadershipWSP is committed to the principles of employment equity.
