You will partner with and support the business on key initiatives and recruitment efforts for the Actuarial student programs as well as manage the candidate experience.What will you do?You will have the opportunity to own and execute the talent acquisition strategy, process and delivery for our Actuarial team here at Sun Life. You will develop talent pipelines and engage and recruit exceptional talent in our Actuarial Campus program. This role will support our Actuarial student programs in many ways including:Act as a strategic advisor and program manager to the business to help define and evolve the Early Careers Actuarial strategy including leadership and development of team membersLead the full recruitment cycle in partnership with various committees including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, conducting debriefs and extending offersProvides market intelligence and insights to develop sourcing and recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talentCreate, measure, and report on ROI, KPI’s, and DEI initiatives to measure success of the recruitment process and campus initiativesLead a team of Early Careers Talent Acquisition Consultants, conduct regular 1:1 meetings and attend Early Careers leadership meetingsBuild and nurture relationships with our key stakeholders and help identify opportunities for the Actuarial student programsDevelop and execute social media strategy to support early careers recruitmentFlexibility is required to attend events during non-business hoursYou will also support the student experience at Sun Life including:Managing onboarding experience and performance management for Actuarial student programsManage and lead different student initiatives in support of all Sun Life co-op studentsParticipating in the continual improvement of all campus recruitment strategies, partnerships, and processesWhat do you need to succeed?Minimum of 3 years of previous Early Careers/Campus recruitment or relevant experience is requiredHighly skilled in relationship building; possesses skills to quickly establish trust, credibility and effectively manage others through influenceAbility to lead others and keep processes and projects on trackFlexible and resilient; able to adapt to multiple demands, shifting priorities and changing business conditionsAbility to navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems while collaborating with business partners to achieve a common goalData-driven in everything you do; you take pride in data quality and data integrityWhat’s in it for you?The opportunity to move along a variety of career paths with amazing networking potentialFlexible Benefits from the day you join to meet the needs of you and your familyWe’re committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment.
