This role is perfect for people who are passionate about automotive excellence and are dedicated to showcasing and developing their technical skills with our experienced team.Compensation$52.76 per hour with full-time hours$0.80 Afternoon Shift PremiumHealth and Dental Benefits, Pension and Match RSP ImmediatelyWhat you can expect from usCommitment to Safety – outstanding in-house safety recordModern and clean work environmentIndustry leading diagnostic technology and toolsComprehensive technical and professional training & developmentResponsibilitiesPerforming preventative maintenance on equipment as assignedLeverage predictive diagnostic software to aid in eliminating vehicle breakdownsDiagnose vehicle failures and perform mechanical repairs and replacements as requiredRespond to local road calls and/or coordinate service support as necessaryPerforming all assigned duties in a safe and productive mannerQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent GED requiredMust be certified Heavy Equipment Technician in Commercial Transport, Heavy Duty or Automotive / 310T JourneypersonMinimum of 2 years work experience required with preventative maintenance on class 6/8 trucks and industrial equipmentMust be able to provide own tool set for the workMust be able to work independently with minimal supervisionAdditional skills you may have (not required, these are assets)Experience with propane and electric forklifts, hydraulic liftgates, agriculture equipment, reefers, vans, pickups and carsWelding and electrical experienceClass 1 / AZ License preferredPhysical demands and working conditionsYou can lift/carry and push/pull up to 100lbsYou are comfortable working in a multi-temperature environmentMust be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching and graspingMust be able to work evenings, weekends and overtime as requiredAbout UsPepsiCo’s mission is to create smiles with every sip and every bite.
