Overview We are seeking an AI Governance Officer to join our Corporate Data Office Division (CDOD) within our Cybersecurity Organization.   CDOD focus on AI governance, including the design and implementation of robust AI governance frameworks that ensure the ethical, transparent, and compliant use of AI and machine learning technologies.   Your primary role is to play a key role in shaping and driving AI governance across the organization. You will join the AI governance team to implement policies, General Instructions (GIs), frameworks, and lifecycle controls that ensure the appropriate use and implementation of AI systems. In this role, you will help govern AI deployments activities to ensure alignment with the company’s standards and strategic objectives, collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and foster a culture of accountability and transparency in all AI-related initiatives.   Key Responsibilities   As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: Implement AI governance framework for responsible AI development ensuring alignment with global regulatory standards. Develop and implement governance guidelines for AI development and deployment. Conduct review of AI solutions, in terms of adherence to ethical and responsible AI principles and controls. This independent review shall not be performed by those who develop, train, test and/or deploy AI models. Conduct reviews to identify potential risks and impact suggest remedies before an AI project goes live. Conduct periodical reviews on the AI governance process and documentation. Conduct technical assessment which covers the AI development and deployment process as well as the third-party AI product procurement process. Ensure AI risks are identified and managed appropriately through the organization's risk governance process. Support the AI governance process over the AI inventory, issue tracking, governance meetings & management reporting. Perform risk analysis whenever an application or system undergoes a major change. Oversee and conduct periodic assessments and evaluations to validate adherence to governance standards and regulatory obligations. Develop methods to effectively monitor and measure risk, compliance and assurance efforts. Devise strategies and protocols to minimize risks associated with AI, including developing robust testing methods and risk management frameworks. Stay updated with regulations and standards and ensuring that AI systems comply with these guidelines. Develop and deliver awareness programs to educate stakeholders on AI governance principles, policies, and compliance requirements.       Minimum requirements   You must hold a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.  You should have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in application development, system administration, and data management, including 10 years of experience of implementing AI, computer vision, NLP, and LLM solutions. 5 years of experience designing and implementing AI governance and risk management programs is also required.
