Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst with extensive experience in Capital Markets and US regulatory projects to join our banking client. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and technical expertise, with a proven ability to work with complex data, regulatory requirements, and systems integration in a financial environment.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Extensive experience as a Technical Business Analyst in the Capital Markets domain (8+ years of experience)
Strong knowledge of US financial regulations , including:
SEC 10c-1a
US LOPR, CAT/CAIS
FED/FICC Reporting for FINRA
Hands-on experience with SQL databases , including querying, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
Expertise in data mapping and integration from source systems (e.g., Fidessa) to downstream systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders across Compliance, Technology, Operations, and Capital Markets to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for regulatory initiatives.
Support projects focused on compliance with US regulations, specifically:
SEC 10c-1a
US LOPR, CAT/CAIS
FED/FICC Reporting for FINRA
Perform data mapping and transformation tasks between source systems (e.g., Fidessa) and downstream systems, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Work with SQL databases to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and create detailed data mappings.
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of solutions.
Contribute to the testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet regulatory and business expectations.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including status reports, issue tracking, and risk assessments.
