Course assignment includes courses in Junior and Senior (Grades 7-12) Humanities primarily Social Studies, CTS and potentially other assigned duties appropriate to the candidates skill set within the school environment. The successful candidate will have training, knowledge and experience in secondary humanities, social studies/history, and an understanding of assessment for learning. The successful candidate must be eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta. Knowledge and understanding of Inclusive Education, Indigenous Education, and educational technology proficiency would be considered assets. The successful candidate will be required to support students who have individualized program plans, enrichment, modifications and/or accommodations to their learning.
