Job Summary
The CMS Project Manager is responsible for the profitable execution of assigned Security projects. As a primary leader for execution teams, you'll work with Sales Managers and Branch Installation Manager and teams to provide sales support activities in the development process. Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing project schedules and implementing according to plan for assigned projects
Evaluating contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives, and scheduling changes
Managing costs, billings, and collections, completing project billings timely and accurately for the client
Reviewing and interpreting contract Terms and Conditions
Analyzing financial reporting systems and project schedules to proactively address potential problems
Managing risks and establishing project recovery plans when required
Negotiating, preparing, and issuing subcontracts
Ensuring project document controls follow contract requirements and JCI standards
Supervising project construction for compliance with specifications, local codes, and installation techniques
Managing the selection, ordering, and delivery schedule of materials to be procured for projects
Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers, consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors
Requirements
PMP certification with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the Building Construction Industry
Management experience with projects related to Security Systems
Proficient in Project Management software and financial accounting systems, including MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), Adobe Writer, Visio, and basic Windows environment
Available for frequent travel, with projects potentially existing outside of assigned geography
