School District No. 20 (Kootenay-Columbia) is looking for casual employees for the On-Call List for Bus Drivers. Casual staff can expect to work 3-5 days a week; however, casual work cannot be guaranteed. Individuals looking to work in a rewarding team environment all across our School District (Rossland, Trail, Fruitvale, Castlegar, Robson) with the likelihood of attaining a permanent position in the future should apply immediately Qualifications Valid Class 2 drivers license with air endorsement (course takes approximately two weeks to complete through Mountain Transport Institute 1-877-965-DRIVE) Job Details Rate of pay: $32.89/hr + 13.4% in lieu of benefits = $37.30/hr Hours of work are between 6:30 am and 10:00 am and between 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm with the opportunity to work charter trips in between regular routes Bus drivers have winter break, spring break and summers off For full position details including qualifications, please refer to the Careers section of our website.
