Quality technician

Following the major growth to come at Soft Tex Pillows, we are opening 2 new positions as operational quality technicians.

Reporting to the Quality & Continuous improvement manager, your mission will be ensure the operation product’s quality relied to the methodology and process used.

We open 2 positions. 1 position is on the day shift and 1 position is on the night shift.

Work schedule :

Day : 7 AM to 4h15 PM, from Monday to Thursday and Friday, from 7 AM to 11h45 AM

Night : 4h15 PM to 1h30 AM from Monday to Thursday and Friday, from 11h45 to 4h30 PM

Here is more precisely your future tasks :

To validate the customer standards at the first piece produced;

Manage quarantine zone;

Carry out quality inspection tours;

Inspect raw materials during receiving;

Audit finished products;

Support employee’s training in terms of quality.

To be efficient while working as a quality technician, here are the requirements :

Have an excellent structure and attention to detail;

Be proactive and positive;

Have certain negociation skills;

Basic knowledge of computer skills;

Be bilingual (asset)
