POSITION DESCRIPTION: The brand new Sonata retirement residence offers, on the one hand, private apartments for young retirees who above all need independence, with all the security of a residence and access to several services.

We are looking for a full-time, daytime maintenance manager.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be available to respond to emergencies

Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior

Maintain and clean the premises

Maintenance and monitoring of equipment (mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, pumps, furnaces, valves, etc.)

Manage apartment renovations in accordance with the program established by general management/the general manager

Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior

Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

A DEP in general builing maintenance (as asset)

Experience in personnel management

Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs

Ease in the use of computer tools

CPR training
