Junior Industrial Designer

Reporting directly to the Product Manager, the Junior industrial designer will be to create 3D parts drawing, assembly drawings and marketing documents for lighting products.

Tasks
Produce all relevant information relating to new products: parts drawing, assembly drawing, BOM, datasheet, installation sheet, labelling, electrical diagram & marketing documents.
Make the required changes to existing products, considering the possible impact of changes on all products.
Make the necessary revisions to parts and assembly drawings.
Ensuring feasibility and planning changes to BOMs.
Participated in the validation of a special product according to specific customer requests.

Skills
Ability to operate computer-aided design (CAD) software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Siemens NX…)
Good knowledge of the Adobe suite (InDesign, Illustrator & Acrobat)
Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time.
Interpersonal skills to work within a team, taking direction from Special Projects Manager and Product Design Manager
Communication skills with an emphasis on reading and writing for creating documentation and reports.

Education:
DEC in Industrial Design (minimum)

Language
English & French (spoken and written)

Concepteur Industriel Junior

Directement rattaché au gestionnaire de produits, le dessinateur industriel junior aura pour mission de créer des plans de pièces en 3D, des plans d'assemblage et des documents de marketing pour des produits d'éclairage.

Tâches
Produire toutes les informations pertinentes relatives aux nouveaux produits : plan des pièces, plan d'assemblage, nomenclature, fiche technique, fiche d'installation, étiquetage, schéma électrique et documents de marketing.
Apporter les modifications nécessaires aux produits existants, en tenant compte de l'impact possible des modifications sur tous les produits.
Apporter les révisions nécessaires aux pièces et aux dessins d'assemblage.
Assurer la faisabilité et la planification des modifications des nomenclatures.
Participer à la validation d'un produit spécial selon les demandes spécifiques du client.

Compétences
Capacité à utiliser des logiciels de conception assistée par ordinateur (CAO) (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Siemens NX...)
Bonne connaissance de la suite Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator et Acrobat)
Capacité à mener plusieurs tâches de front et à gérer plusieurs projets à la fois.
Compétences interpersonnelles pour travailler au sein d'une équipe, en suivant les directives du responsable des projets spéciaux et du responsable de la conception des produits.
Aptitude à la communication, en particulier à la lecture et à l'écriture pour la création de documents et de rapports.

Formation
DEC en design industriel (minimum)

Langue
Anglais et français (parlé et écrit)
