The Company
Globe 24-7 in partnership with a key client are working together to source experienced and qualified talent for their site in West Africa. This will be a Fly in Fly out role.

Responsibilities
Conduct infill drilling, strike extensions, and depth extensions in underground exploration sites.
Develop and implement plans for underground drill operations, ensuring efficiency and safety.
Interpret results from investigations, including geological data, core samples, and assays.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and geologists to optimize exploration strategies.
Utilize geological software and tools to analyze data and generate comprehensive reports.
Monitor and assess geological conditions in underground environments to mitigate risks and maximize exploration success.
Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, sample collection, and laboratory analyses.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements at all times.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior geologists and field staff.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in exploration techniques, and geological research.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in exploration geology
Proven track record of successful infill drilling, strike extensions, and depth extensions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex geological data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Familiarity with underground mining techniques and safety procedures.
Professional fluency in English; proficiency in French is advantageous.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
